Capezio Ballet Shoes
Capezio Ballet Shoes Are Very ReputableCapezio is a leading manufacturer of dance shoes in the U.S. and has earned praise for its impeccable styling, fit and finish of its shoes. The company specializes in ballet shoes though its costume shoes for jazz and modern dance are equally famous. Capezio ballet shoes are a class by themselves and much of the assembling of shoes is still done by hand. Along with shoes, the company also manufactures athletic and dance clothing like unitards and various warm-up outfits along with matching bags to carry the ballet stuff. Ballet as a dance form involves a series of graceful turns or 'pirouettes' which is mainly done by keeping the toes pointed on the floor. The weight of the body is practically resting on the pointed toes and ballet shoes thus have to be of utmost comfort and excellent fit. These have to be stretchable as well as flexible so that there is just the right amount of room in the front of the shoes. Too much space will make it difficult for the dancer to accentuate foot to 'pointe' and if toes need to be curled up for the shoes to fit properly, then a smaller size is needed. If there is too little space then the shoes become uncomfortable. pointe, leos, salsa, professional, toddlers, accessories, mens, lyrical, latin, distributors, hiphop, toddler, dancewear, tias, stores
Ballet shoes come in both canvas and leather though leather is generally more preferred because of its durability and the ability to keep feet warm in cold studios. However, leather does not necessarily mean better shoes. Unlike canvas, each pieces of leather is unique and no two identical pairs of leather shoes will give the wearer the same feeling on the floor. Capezio Ballet Shoes Keep The Steps in LineCanvas is also much less expensive and can hold up better than leather on vinyl floors. But, on wooden floors, leather performs better. A combination shoe of leather with a canvas instep is also available. The new Capezio Stretch ballet slipper has elastic instead of a drawstring and the instep is made of a stretchable material which helps when pointing the foot. It does not bunch up under the arch of the foot. Shoes for ballet have either full sole or split sole and dance schools normally prefer the full sole as the shank is similar to the pointe shoes though split sole allow for a stronger arch. Capezio has also come up with the 'demi-pointe' shoes which are boxed pointe shoes with no shank. But, for beginners' classes, dance institutions do not much prefer the 'demi-pointe' as they feel it hampers the students' movements, although for advanced learners, these shoes are deemed fine. In short, Capezio caters to dancers of all levels and it is a great choice for the experienced as well as the amateur dancer. |
